A few years ago I painted a small series of Superman and Lois Lane acrylic paintings because I had tubes and tubes of lovely reds and blues…even though I seldom use these colors in my paintings. During the annual Spring Studio Clean I noticed that I still have an awful lot of red and blue paint, all begging to please, please be used. These are two new paintings…I’m still not profligate with either red or blue but I’m happy enough with the paintings.

I’m including one of the paintings from the old series…they don’t look like they’ve been painted several years apart (joyful dancing and leaping around!) although there is a little more red and blue in the old paintings.
